Adobe 公司于北京时间4月12日 23:00宣布推出新一代网络、设计与开发软件套装 Creative Suite 5 (CS5)，所有组件和套件都升级到了最新版，距离 Adobe CS4 更新已经一年半。 当然，中国并不在第一批首发名单之列…预计要到5月以后各版本才会陆续登录大陆地区。

Adobe CS5 仍然分为大师典藏版、设计高级版、设计标准版、网络高级版、产品高级版五大版本，各自包含不同的组件，总共有 15 个独立程序和相关技术，具体包括 Photoshop CS5 (标准版和扩展版)、Illustrator CS5、InDesign CS5、Acrobat 9 Pro、Flash Catalyst CS5 (新增)、Flash Professional CS5、Dreamweaver CS5、Fireworks CS5、Contribute CS5、Premiere Pro CS5、After Effects CS5、Encore CS5、Soundbooth CS5、OnLocation CS5、Bridge CS5、Flash Builder 4、Device Cnetral CS5、Dynamick Link，此外还有五个新的 Adobe CS Live 在线服务。

Adobe CS5 家族还支持创建 Adobe Flash Player 10.1、Adobe AIR 2 内容和应用，专为移动设备的高性能而优化，并能利用多点触摸等特性。

Adobe CS5 的几乎每一个组件和技术都引入了大量全新技术和特性，在此不便一一详述，简单概述如下：

1、Photoshop CS5 Extened 引入了改进的边缘检测技术”Truer Edge”(更真实边缘)，能在更短的时间内获得更好的效果，同时还有”Content-Aware Fill”(内容感知填充)，能够移除图像中的某个元素并立即智能填充应有的像素。

4、Illustrator CS5 增加新的描边选项，可以创建可变宽度的描边、在任何地方精确调整描边宽度。

5、Premiere Pro CS5 中的水银回放引擎 (Adobe Mercury Playback Engine) 支持 NVIDIA GPU 硬件加速，可以更快地打开对象、实时调整高清序列、无需渲染播放复杂项目。

6、After Effects CS5 增加新的”Roto Brush”(旋转笔刷)，可在很短的时间内移除前景元素。

7、Dreamweaver CS5 支持流行的内容管理系统，诸如 Drupal、Joomla!、WordPress，可在程序内部获得精确的动态 Web 内容视图。

Adobe CS5 及其相关单独产品将在 30 天内陆续上市，提供 Windows、Mac 版本，不过语言方面首批仅支持英语、法语、西班牙语。
